My birthday was celebrated in England with my family at my Grandmother and Grandfather's home where we stayed while on leave for six months.
It was our first trip to England and my father’s reunion with his parents, brothers and sisters after a very long absence (approximately 25 years)
Jeannie was a “Scottie” and the apple of Granny’s eye ! She was extremely jealous of other “children”. Sweet as she could be when Granny was in view, but the moment Granny left the room, she would head straight for us and nip us. How I got her on my lap and was still smiling is a mystery.
I am sure Granny was off camera to where Jeannie is looking.
